“IXL is a personalized learning platform that is proven to improve learning outcomes for all students” (IXL). During Miss Marissa’s tutoring sessions, she prepares and plans lessons to fit every individual child’s needs. After she creates a lesson, she then assigns standards and problems on IXL. The problems that are assigned correlate directly to the lesson that was taught. The child will practice the standards and skills on IXL after the tutoring session. When children practice a skill they have learned, they then begin to master it and are able to expand and grow.
